I love how the coffee in the marinade adds a slight smokey taste to Steak without overpowering it. The Miso Greens are a great foil and the combo of butter and miso is completely addictive.

Servings:
Instructions
- Mix the coffee, worcestshire sauce, garlic and mustard in a large bowl add the Flank Steak and Marinate for at least 2 hours and up to 24. When you are ready to cook remove the steak a 1/2 hr before to allow it to come to room temp.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and dry well. Season with Salt and Pepper . If you are grilling pre-heat grill and cook over high heat for 7 mins per side for rare , 9 mins per side for medium and 10 mins per side for medium well. If you are cooking on the stove top heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat for a minute to heat up cook sear steak for 3 mins on one side flip and finish in a 450 pre-heated oven for another 8 mins for rare, 10 for medium rare and 12 for med well. Let the Meat rest for 10 mins.
- While the meat is resting rinse and chop your greens (don't dry the water on the leaves helps with the cooking). In a large skillet over medium high heat add add butter , greens and miso. Stir the ingredients, add 1 tablespoon of water and cook stirring periodically until all of the liquid as evaporated and the greens are wilted.
- To serve place the greens on a large platter. Slice the Flank steak thinly and against the grain (Generally with Flank steak the grain runs lengthwise- so cut width wise). Fan the Steak over the greens and Serve.
