I love this recipe. My mom made a version of it growing up and my parents always had champagne with it. For me it hits all of the right notes. If your not a lamb person – you can substitute any ground meat really. One of the many wonderful culinary pleasures of East Hampton is the amazing selection of fresh fish. I make a point of getting what is local and really you can’t go wrong. This is a fun and casual dinner – something about the family style approach and the tearing and dipping of bread that just makes the evening feel laid back. I was lucky enough have my talented friend John Jaxheimer for dinner that night with his lovely wife and he shot the feature image- if you spend any time out here then you have seen his pictures grace the side of the Jitney asRead More →

This is great for a group. The ribs are basically self saucing so all you have to do is let them rest for a bit and serve with your side of choice. I love coleslaw or a big green salad- or in the summer a traditional potato salad would really hit the spot.Read More →

I love Artichokes and this recipe is a great way to elevate them to a full blown meal.  This recipe is strictly veggies, but you could easily add some sausage or prosciutto. This is equally wonderful straight out of the oven or room temperature.Read More →

I love wings and beer and bar food. Which can be challenging living in NYC where most women live on salad and white wine. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone out to dinner and the call is to share a couple of appies instead of a proper meal. Anyway, I love wings so I like to make them. This is a great recipe it takes a couple of steps ,parts can be made ahead and it’s actually healthy- everything baked and the sauce is yogurt- so have that extra beer or two and kick back and enjoy.Read More →
